The Postal Service Meet the New Guy in Sheryl Crow's Life Gilles Bensimon Advertisement - Continue Reading Below Driving up the road to Sheryl Crow's home, a sprawling, 154-acre ranch on the outskirts of Nashville, it's easy to see why the singer would trade her Los Angeles life for this. The landscape is dotted with barns, cows graze peacefully in the fields, and the only sound is the rustle of leaves. Sheryl, 48, bought the house in 2008 and spent the next few years knocking down walls, rummaging through thrift stores, and putting her unique stamp in every corner, as I get to see firsthand once I've arrived. In the kitchen I am greeted by a nanny and 3-year-old Wyatt, who is shaking a pair of maracas. "Shock" would be a major understatement to describe my reaction; after all, she hasn't yet announced her adoption of a second son. It's great to hear Sheryl's good news. Curling up on a couch in her living room among her favorite guitars — next to mother-son matching drum sets! VIDEO: Behind the scenes of Sheryl's glam photo shoot. Absolutely.

tUnE-YarDs - w h o k i l l The Grates Sheryl Crow Theoretical Girl Cut Chemist The Coathangers New Album Out April 7, 2009 Suck My Shirt is the The Coathangers’ fourth full-length. The title refers to an incident involving the salvaging of spilled tequila during the recording session for the album. While the title implies that little has changed with regards to the band’s celebratory mission statement, even just a cursory listen of their latest album demonstrates that there have indeed been changes in The Coathangers’ camp. First off, the quartet was reduced to a trio for the latest record, with keyboardist Bebe Coathanger (Candice Jones) stepping down from her duties. But the absence of keyboards isn’t nearly as noticeable of a difference as the band’s refined songwriting approach. Refinement is an attribute we expect to see in any group that has a career spanning more than a couple of years, but the extent to which The Coathangers have honed their trade with each successive album dwarfs most bands’ maturation. Tour Dates:SAT JAN 25 - Atlanta GA, Star Bar - Benefit for Susan G.
