Slutty Brownies Recipe
Happy Hump Day! I know I’ve posted about these slutty brownies before… but I just made a video to go along with them and thought it would be fun to share! Happy brownie making A few weeks ago I was perusing the interwebs, mainly pinterest, because it’s my latest obsession and I spend an inordinate amount of time pinning things that I want to eat, and things that I want at my wedding. I’m not quite sure how people planned weddings before Pinterest. It’s kinda the greatest invention of all times. Clearly these caught my attention immediately. So basically after I found these I made them approximately 23 times. You could easily make these with box mix, which is what the original recipe I found calls for, but I took it one step further and made these with my all time favorite rich chocolatly brownie recipe and my favorite chocolate chip cookie dough recipe. So basically you’ve got to make these. Ingredients For the Brownie layer: For the Oreo layer: For the Cookie Dough layer: Instructions

Twix Caramel Brownies Twix Caramel Brownies Last week we hosted a barbeque for our good family friends. I couldn’t decide what dessert to make, so I made three:) I wanted to make sure there was something for everyone to enjoy, plus, you all know I love an excuse to bake:) I decided to make brownies, because brownies are always a hit at parties. I didn’t want to make plain chocolate brownies so I jazzed them up with Twix candy bars and caramel. I think that was the best decision I have made in a long time! These Twix Caramel Brownies take brownies to a whole new level of deliciousness. Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Brownies Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Brownies *If you are visiting this post for the first time, you may wish to visit my “Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Brownies Take Two” post- a more recent post where I share (what I think is) a better version of these brownies! These are good too- but I took the comments suggested in this post and created a new recipe based on feedback. Okay, Cookie Dough Lovers. I gave you those Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Truffles a few weeks ago, and now I’m giving you Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Brownies! The raw dough is egg-free, of course.

Four ways with deviled eggs Intro Between the sun peering through my shades waking me in the morning by its brightness to the rusted tin box containing over 50 years of collected recipes that I recently received from my grandma, I am seething with inspiration and brimming with hope as we approach the passing of the gray season and slowly begin to welcome in an entirely new cast of ingredients. I stood at the kitchen counter chopping, roasting, baking and washing for most of the weekend stopping, momentarily, when the sun lured us outside. Baked Potato Grilled Cheese Behold my latest creation…THE BAKED POTATO GRILLED CHEESE! After the glory that was the Brocolli & Cheddar Soup Grilled Cheese , I began racking my brain for what other wonderful things I could deconstruct into grilled cheese format. Soon enough I had envisioned this piece of grilled cheese heaven! I mean how can you go wrong with fried potatoes, bacon, cheese, sour cream and chives all made into a melty grilled cheese? So here is how I went about making it.

New York Times Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe I am not one to really repeat recipes in my kitchen and rarely here on MBA. However, sometimes a recipe is so incredibly good that it’s totally worth another post. These New York Times Chocolate Chip Cookies certainly fit into that category and are hands down my absolute favorite recipe for chocolate chip cookies. If you don’t believe me, hit up your friend Google and take a looksie.

Knock You Naked Brownies Goodness. You have to try these. Here’s how it shakes out. Peanut Butter & Banana Stuffed French Toast I don’t eat peanut butter very often, but when I do, I LOVE peanut butter and banana sandwiches as well as peanut butter and honey sandwiches. So when I saw this recipe on Foodgawker which combined all of that into a FRENCH TOAST I knew it was going down! The recipe I followed is Bobby Flay’s version of the Cafe 222 french toast which I believe appeared on The Best Thing I Ever Ate?

Vegetable Noodle Soup Vegetable Noodle Soup This was a rainy day and clean out my fridge meal. I had some leftover homemade chicken stock to use up so I went in search of items I could throw into a pot of soup. I didn’t have any thawed chicken so I decided to just use up a bunch of veggies that I had. Ferrero Rocher-Stuffed Chocolate Cupcakes with Nutella Buttercream If you follow me on Instagram (Username: rachelconners), you’re probably familiar with these cupcakes. The picture of the batter going into the oven got a few “OMG”‘s and the final product got a couple “Wow”s and a declaration of love. Yeah, they were good pictures, but these people haven’t tasted these cupcakes. I can vouch, these are “Wow” and “I’m in love” worthy cupcakes. Better-Than-Crack-Brownies I’m sorry for doing this to you. I really am. But see, last Friday while I was on a 10-hour road trip heading for vacation, I received this recipe from a reader named Liz. Liz, I love you. That’s all I have to say. I was tortured by this recipe for a full 8 days before I could make it.

Nutella Caramel Hazelnut Brownies I thought we were a little overdue for another NUTELLA recipe! What about you? I have been wanting to try a Nutella brownie recipe for a bit now, but it couldn’t be just any brownie, it had to be an oooey gooey over the top slap your momma kinda brownie. Cinnamon Rolls 101 Hey! I have a great idea. Why not start a holiday tradition of delivering these delicious cinnamon rolls to your friends and cohorts? Growing up, my mom always made them for her good friends at Christmastime, and you could literally hear the primal groans of pure joy rising from the rooftops of our town. I’ve carried on the tradition through the years and have won friends and influenced people just by delivering these rolls.
