la lampe boite d oeuf There are so many fun crafty things that can be done with paper pulp egg cartons. When I came across these unique purple ones in the trash at my office (yes, I dug them out of the trash), I just knew they could be turned into something really spectacular. My idea? This paper pulp egg carton flower pendant light. I think this flower pendant light would add a pretty feminine touch to a girl’s room or any room that needs a pretty, feminine touch . How to Make Paper Lanterns - Cute Round Oriental Style Looking for instructions on how to make paper lanterns? My husband designed an easy template for making paper lanterns in a cute round shape. They look a bit oriental, don’t you think? These “lanterns” are purely decorative and aren’t designed to have a lamp inside them, but they do make great festive decorations. In fact, they started out as a design for Christmas baubles.

Frame your own artwork For a while now I have wanted to make an art piece of my own to place above our humble dining room table. The problem? I am no artist. That's right, sometimes crafty girls cannot paint or draw.. or it may just be me. Either way, I have created a fabulous piece of "art" using scrapbook paper, ribbon, fabric, cardstock, embellishments, and any other scraps you have laying around the house. But – the shade is made of recycled pages from books and magazines! Allison’s lamps are very cool, they remind me of the decoupage projects my mom would do with us as a kid. Pillow With Rosette Clusters From Felt Furnishings I haven’t crafted with felt since I was little, but since picking up a copy of Anne Kyrrö Quinn‘s book, Felt Furnishings, I have a whole new universe of respect for the material. Anne was encouraged to revisit felt by her tutor in her final year studying Textile Design at London Metropolitan University, and she hasn’t looked back since. The techniques she explores in this vibrant craft book truly transform felt into modern, eye-catching home accents. For this week’s How-Tuesday project, we’re sharing her pillow with rosette clusters.

DIY Confetti Bowl Last weekend I made this DIY project with the boys, it's really easy to make and I can assure that you're gonna have fun! You'll need: confetti, one balloon, Mod Podge, a sponge and a small vase. Inflate your balloon, then insert it on to the vase so it's sturdier to work with. Add Mod Podge to the top half of the balloon with a sponge, then sprinkle confetti all over, you can remove your balloon from the vase and hold it to add the confetti on the sides. Let it dry and add another coat of glue and confetti, you will need to add several coats until you achieve a thick coat.

lampe dentelle We are at our little cottage in Dalarna and we are fixing it up. So we are able to use it even in the winter. (Dalarna is in th middle/north of Sweden. To me and Jenny it’s north but Sweden is a very tall country so I guess we are not even in the middle). Anyway it’s great cause I have the time and space to do lots of DIY projects. Starting with this lamp.
