I thought I’d try and answer all your questions in one helpful post! So I’ll show you how I edit my photos for all of my posts as well as include some info on how you can get better quality snapshots and I’ve even made 4 photoshop actions you can download and have a play around with for your own snapshots! I’m not an expert at all, nor did I take any classes. 1. So maybe you’re new to SL, new to the blogging/photography game or just want to take nice photos to show your friends what you get up to on your SLadventures. Which brings me onto tip number 1. When you’re taking a snapshot using the camera button, you should see a drop down menu. An alternative I like to use for waist-up shots is the High-res snapshot option. To get to this option you’ll need to delve into your advanced settings a bit, but don’t worry, it’s easy peasy! 2. Here’s another tip! That’s it!
New Ultradense Planet Found; Astronomers Baffled A newly discovered planet 4,000 light-years away is just too dense. Dubbed CoRoT-20b, the planet is thought to be a gas giant about four-fifths the size of Jupiter and orbits close to a sunlike star. Despite the new planet's relatively diminutive size, this world has four times Jupiter's mass, making CoRoT-20b one of the densest known planets, a new study says. That poses a problem for astronomers: If CoRoT-20b is structured like a traditional gas giant, with a solid core surrounded by a gassy atmosphere, the planet's core would have to make up 50 to 77 percent of the world's total mass. By contrast, Jupiter's core is thought to represent just 15 percent of that planet's mass. To have such a robust core, CoRoT-20b would defy current theories for how planets form. Huit années très riches en innovations et usages disruptifs. Le moins que l’on puisse dire est que Second Life aura marqué les esprits et modifié à jamais la perception des environnements virtuels par le grand public. Nombreux sont encore ceux qui me demandent si Second Life est toujours ouvert, et ma réponse est invariablement la même : Second Life est toujours actif et l’univers est bien intéressant aujourd’hui qu’il ne l’était à l’époque de la sur-médiatisation. Avec le recul, nous mesurons maintenant l’impact négatif de la sur-exposition médiatique de Second Life, mais les équipes de Linden Lab ont su traverser cette tempête : Grandeur, décadence, résurrection, sublimation et transformation de Second Life. Peut-être que pour ses 10 ans, Second ife va redevenir la destination à la mode, qui sait ?

For a couple of years now, I’ve been talking with a wide range of people…the geeks at ReactionGrid…fellow instructors at international and other schools…colleagues met via conferences and meetings, in Real and Second Life…about what’s holding 3D virtual worlds back in education. The consensus was that OpenSimulator, still not quite at Version 1.0 stage, is still too difficult for teachers to work with…some kind of tutorial was needed.
