Para ello expondremos, siguiendo un criterio sintáctico-semántico (y recurriendo, cuando así se requiera, a cuestiones pragmáticas), todos los casos de uso del subjuntivo, divididos según si alternan o no con el indicativo y el infinitivo, y según los tipos de oraciones: sustantivas, adjetivas, adverbiales e independientes. Este análisis tiene una finalidad pedagógica y está dirigido a estudiosos de la lengua y, en especial, a profesores de español como lengua extranjera.
