In fact, the service sector increased by 4.4% in comparison with 3.9% in 2009. Africa is catching up This is, apparently, due to the improvement of the activity of market services by 4.5% against 3.2% in 2009 and the progression of non-market services, especially provided by the government, estimated at 4% in 2010.

From 1 April 2015 the small profits rate will be unified with the main rate, so there will be only one Corporation Tax rate for non-ring fence profits - set at 20%. Self Employed Sole Trader Business By the simple definition of being a sole trader you'll first off need to register yourself as self employed with the Inland Revenue or HMRC. You need to register as self employed even if you still have a regular job and are paying tax under PAYE.
