Downloadable Computer Repair CDs | Technibble
One of our Technibble forum members, PcTek9, and a handful of other Technibble members have compiled a large list of CDs for various computer repair tasks. In this list, the following types of CD are available for download: Antivirus Boot CDs, Recovery Disks, Hardware Diagnostic Boot CDs, Network Testing/Monitoring, Data Recovery Boot CDs and Special Purpose CDs. Some of these are free to download, some are not. Be sure to read the EULA for the CD’s you download and the applications you use to make sure you are allowed to use them in the manner you plan to use them in. Also, some of these CD’s may set off an antivirus false positive due to their virus removal, password cracking, system file changing nature. Some CDs have been purposely left out of this list as they contain illegal software. Creating Multiboot CDs Many people have expressed an interest in creating a multi-boot CD or USB stick. I Ditched Windows...and, So Can You
I've suffered slow computer performance, system crashes, and inexplicable Internet outages for 10 long years. I officially ditched Windows two weeks ago...and, so can you. Long story short, I decided to find another operating system and my first attempt was Linux, the free, open-source operative system (for those of you unfamiliar with Open Source operating systems: show me). The Verdict – Linux serves 90% of my computer needs. Why Didn't I go Mac? 1). 2). 3). So, if you’re using Windows and want to ditch it, click here to begin a less stressful life Gregory Ferenstein

In every era in recent times there has been one profession that for a short while you could enter without formal training. Autodidacts in the 19th century could read the law without recourse to formal education (see Abe Lincoln). In the early 20th century it was aviation. Hence, my 12 essential utilities…. Before We Begin I assume you have (and use)… Visual Studio 2010Expression – at a minimum Expression Blend and probably Expression EncoderWindows 7The essential hardware to run it (see forthcoming list!) If not, stop reading this list and go get em. # 1. What is wonderfully controversial is which one is better.
