Steampunk Clock Art By Sue Beatrice Steampunk is a term that is used to describe a specific style of art, jewelry or fashion. Its name is derived from the steam engines that are showcased in old science fiction movies. Many steampunk art pieces feature a Victorian style that utilizes both form and function. This Victorian influence is also seen in steampunk jewelry. Steampunk art can also be found in films; they feature various types of steampunk machines that were assembled using the Industrial Revolution as one of their inspirations. One of the more interesting displays of steampunk art can be seen in watches and clocks.

Cherry Blossom Tattoo Designs The cherry blossom is a beautiful flower that grows on cherry trees and that is closely related to the rose (cherry fruit comes from another kind of tree). Cherry blossoms, which are most commonly found in Western Asia and Eastern Europe, have become popular cultural and social symbols in China and Japan, across different forms of art, including tattoo art. Cherry blossom tattoos are often inked in the style of vines that wrap around the body or as the entire tree with blooming flowers. The most common places to get a cherry blossom tattoo are the shoulders, lower back, arms, ankle, feet and legs.
