Instagram Becomes The Largest Mobile Social Network by Jason Keath on Dec 15, 2011 Instagram added 2 million new users last month. Everyone seems to love the fast growing app (only available on iPhone for now). At Le Web Instagram attributed their growth to the Thanksgiving holidays (ugly sweater photos?) When I say “largest mobile social network” I am talking about a social network where the majority of user activity is from a mobile device. As addiction to mobile grows, as smart phones evolve into the majority of phones AND internet devices, the web will in fact be accessed more on our mobile devices than on our laptops and desktops. The Instagram growth is even more impressive when you realize it is still only on the iPhone. Not Apples To Apples To compare Foursquare and Instagram is not truly a fair fight. But the comparison is still important. Instagram is growing at 2 million new users a month, Foursquare at .866 million a month. Android Breaks Instagram Into New Territory And again, that is only with iPhone. What About Facebook?

I recently received from someone, who has much experience in the use of Digital Still Cameras and also the use of modern frame grabbing software. While I do agree with most of what is stated in the criticism, I have only minor differences. The other thing - I appreciate the many categories & styles of Stop Motion Animation but I'm particularly am an advocate in our small niche of the Ray Harryhausen-esque aka Dynamation style of Stop Motion, which is combining quasi-realistic or surrealistic, creature characters stop motion animated puppets with the Live Action. I do admit, I am not currently up to date with the most current of Digital Still Cameras & all the related techy paraphanellia. . . All below is earlier Info / Some may be dated I always get inquiries asking about using Digital Still Cameras for Stop Motion Animation. There is no definite way to set-up a digital still cam workflow for Stop Motion.
