Home Facials - Get Natural Skincare Ideas at WomansDay.com Facials are a great way to keep your skin glowing, but they can be pricey. We asked Louisa Macan-Graves, author of Hollywood Beauty Secrets: Remedies to the Rescue, and Elda Argenti, owner of the Plantogen skincare line, for their favorite make-at-home face masks crafted from common household ingredients. For All Skin Types Brighten: Cut a slice of ripe papaya and remove the seeds and pulp (save the pulp for a snack later—it’s great for digestion). Rub the inside of the papaya peel on your cleansed face, focusing on lines around the mouth and eyes, crow’s feet, thinning temples, neck and hands. Let it dry for 15 to 20 minutes, then rinse with tepid water. Exfoliate: Combine 1 tsp honey and 1 tsp olive oil. Cleanse: “Believe it or not, I love to cleanse with oil,” says Argenti. For Oil- and Blemish-Prone Skin Lift & Tighten: Combine 2 Tbsp plain yogurt with 1 Tbsp fresh lemon juice (the juice of one lemon) and apply to your cleansed face and neck. For Dry Skin

...love Maegan: Messy Rope Braids and Low Bun Hair Tutorial... - StumbleUpon These little rope braids are a fun way to add a little style with your own hair, creating a sort-of headband of sorts. Your hair doesn’t need to be extremely long, but you do need some length to cover the top of your head with. If you have layers, you could instead create a tiny French Braid where the hair is shorter and closer to your head, if that makes sense. But it’s a fun and cute braided hair style that’s just a little different. I originally wore this style last Summer with two slightly larger braids Watch and Enjoy… * Notes: Instead of one large bun, create two or three little buns at base of your head OR swap the bun for a clean pony tail. Wear it Up… Wear it Down… * Just bobby pin them in place or use a pretty barrette * Click Here for my DIY Tassel Earrings shown above * Have Fun! Find all my Hair Tutorials here!

Cake Batter & Sprinkle Bark I think I’ve found my sugar & sprinkles soul sister recently. I really do. The funny thing is, I had popped by Jessica’s blog from time to time when I would spot her yummy treats linked by friends on twitter, but I didn’t really get a chance to sit down and really take a good long look through her recipes until this past week. The possibilities are endless, which is why making your first batch of bark can be a wee bit dangerous. My kind of party. Oh crumbs — it’s almost gone? Who me? I hope you love this recipe as much as I do. Why not make a batch of this, wrap it in a fun crystal clear cello bag and tie it with some fun polka dot ribbon for birthday party favours? I’m off to whip up a collection of birthday cakes for a special friend this weekend, but I’ll be back very soon with that vanilla cake post I mentioned on Wednesday and then next week I’ll be celebrating my very 1st blogiversary! Have a wonderful weekend, friends! Cake Batter & Sprinkle Bark Ingredients Instructions Related posts:
