Nonoo Resort 2014 Inspired Nail Art Yesterday I was checking out the finalists for 2013's CDFA/Vogue Fashion Fund at Glamour.com and when I saw the lookbook image from Nonoo's Resort 2014 collection, my heart skipped a beat. As we all know, I have a weakness for stripes, gradients and anything blue so within seconds I'd decided that it was going on my nails! I'm going to try a new way of writing out the steps I took today.
Canadian Nail Fanatic: Stamping Polish Comparisons As happy as I am with the stamping results using Konad black special polish, I'm not generally happy with the cleanup, which is rarely 100% plus it has a tendency to drag probably more than any of the other Konad polishes. I've been wondering if there are other black polishes that work well for stamping. I took note of various comments on my blog (thanks Bunny Nails for mentioning KleanColor because I never would have thought about this one!) as well as seen what some others were using for stamping polishes; either swapped or bought them and decided to see if there was an alternative to Konad. For this comparison, I used (left to right below) black Konad special polish, KleanColor Black, Wet n Wild Ebony Hates Chris, FingerPaints Black Expressionism and Essence Stamping polish. For this stamping experiment, I used FingerPaints Blue Raspberry Taffy (blue) and Misa Without Airs Orange (orange) as the base.

There are also tiny holographic particles mixed in to 4 of the shades. Lavish Layerings: Stamping With I Love Nail Polish Nostalgia Hi everyone! I recently did some more multichrome stamping, this time using I Love Nail Polish Nostalgia. I started with a black creme base and then stamped Nostalgia on top using Bundle Monster plate BM409. Nostalgia shifts from a brownish red to gold to green. A lot of people have compared it to Dance Legend Roz, but to me they are aren't very close. Nostalgia isn't as vibrant in its coloring and as I said, the red color is more brownish red vs the intense fuchsia shift of Roz.
