They have their own personality, cat habits , and their own odd, yet amusingly cute antics. Take our cats as perfect examples of this. Keep in mind, we have six of them! Our 1-year-old cat, Tumbleweed (Tumbles), absolutely loves Brillo pads. Tumbles, who is the father of the three kittens we have, also acts as sort of a mother figure to the kittens. But is not only the kittens’ father who acts as a protective mother-figure, it is also our other cat, Dotty (who is the kittens’ biological aunt). One of the coolest things about Axolotl - apart from their appearance - is they ability to regenerate most body parts. Non-Native Competition and Habitat Destruction According to the Yahoo News/Associated Press: The number of axolotls (pronounced ACK-suh-LAH-tuhl) in the wild is not known. Axolotl's Last Stand? One problem is with non-native fish species like the Asian Carp and the African tilapia that eat young Axolotls. The other big issue is habitat destruction. How to Save the Axolotl?
