Google Chrome : un mode « HTTPS-Only » pour renforcer la protection de nos données Il y a quelques années, le protocole HTTP était la norme sur le web, et seuls quelques sites manipulant des données particulièrement sensibles utilisaient le protocole HTTPS, qui est plus sécurisé. Mais aujourd’hui, le protocole HTTPS est largement adopté, en partie parce que sa mise en œuvre est plus facile grâce à des initiatives telles que Let’s Encrypt. Mais en plus de cela, les navigateurs incitent aussi fortement les éditeurs de sites web à adopter ce protocole. HTTPS-Only : la nouvelle fonction qui devrait débarquer plus tard sur Google Chrome Et visiblement, la firme de Mountain View n’a pas l’intention de s’arrêter là, puisqu’actuellement, celle-ci développe également un mode « HTTPS-Only » pour son navigateur. Nos confrères de 9to5Google ont découvert, dans le code du projet Chromium, des références à cette fonctionnalité en cours de développement. Actuellement, Chrome utilise déjà par défaut les versions HTTPS d’un site lorsque le protocole n’est pas précisé.
