Football Inter are holding out for a massive fee for Dutch midfielder Sneijder, but have hinted a deal involving cash plus either Michael Essien or Florent Malouda might clinch a move. Chelsea face competition from both Manchester clubs. Guus Hiddink, expected to be named as Chelsea’s new manager next week when a settlement deal with the Turkish Football Federation is thrashed out, has singled out Sneijder as one of the key players he wants. Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is still reluctant to meet Inter’s massive price for the 26-year-old – and even more of an obstacle is Sneijder’s massive £175,000 a week wages.

Colour footage of London, 1920s Dr. Charles Livingston has put his medical degree to work in order to develop the Fat Loss Factor diet, circumventing many weight loss myths and helping people to drop enormous amounts of weight. Watch the free online video to see how this program works, and how it can help YOU drop the weight you’ve been trying to lose. ‘Blue Is The Colour’: versions from around the world I dimly recall watching an animated Czech film on Channel 4 many years ago, which featured a version of the Chelsea anthem Blue Is The Colour sung in Czech. (Huw Jones in the comments now reveals this to be ‘Virile Game’, by Czech genius Jan Svankmajer - it appears 1min 45secs into this clip.) It seems I may not have imagined this. I’ve just found out that the song was indeed recorded by Czech singer Frantisek Ringo Cech as Zelená je tráva (‘Green Is The Grass’) in 1981. Here are some Czech footballers – including the great Antonin Panenka - singing it in the 1970s. There’s also a Danish version called Rød-hvide farver (Red and White Colours) recorded by Flemming Anthony in 1984.

How to use Siri for voice dictation on a Mac with Mobile Mouse By now just about everyone knows that you can use Siri to take dictation on an iPhone 4S, but what you may not know is that you can also use it on a Mac. If you have an app on your iPhone that allows you to access your Mac's keyboard functions remotely, you can use Siri's dictation feature on the iPhone 4S to dictate text to your Mac. One example of an iPhone app that you can use to dictate to your Mac is Mobile Mouse. The app already allows you to control your keyboard and mouse from your iPhone, but using the new dictation button on the keyboard, you can also dictate text to your Mac.

10 things we want Siri to do in six months It’s time for Apple to start improving Siri before it’s too late. The fledgling voice recognition service – the butt of late night talk-show jokes and featured prominently in Apple TV ads – works well for setting up a meeting and reminding you to pick up milk when you leave work. But there are some other things that it just doesn’t do as well. Film Noir Buff: Suedeheads The very word Suedehead refers to the grown-out crop i.e. a Skinhead haircut. The attire and the attitude that went with it were not very different from those of his immediate predecessor however; it was rather a variation on a theme. The Suedehead of the early Seventies wasn’t so much a separate entity as a continuation of the smart Skinhead who (in many cases anyway) had always worn his hair slightly longer than the ubiquitous number one of ’69.

Tough Guy 2012 - In Focus Billed as "the toughest race in the world," the Tough Guy 2012 competition took place yesterday in Perton, England. Every year, thousands of men and women tackle the course, which is described on the Tough Guy website as eight country miles filled with freezing mud and "barbed wire, cuts, scrapes, burns, dehydration, hypothermia, acrophobia, claustrophobia, electric shocks, sprains, twists, joint dislocation and broken bones." Gathered here are some images of the fun had by the tough competitors in this year's event. [27 photos]

Scenes From India - In Focus Diversity is everywhere in India, from its religions and languages to its economy, and climates. The second-most populous nation in the world, India is home to more than 1.2 billion people. Most are Hindu, but seven other religions -- including Islam, Christianity and Sikhism -- make up nearly 20 percent of the population. January 26 will be India's 62nd Republic Day, marking the date in 1950 when the country's constitution came into force. Collected here are recent photos from across the vast nation, offering only a small glimpse of the people and diversity of India.
