Befindet sich der Access Point drei Zimmer weiter oder gar im Haus auf der anderen Straßenseite, muss eine Richtantenne her. Der größte Störfaktor in der Stadt sind ohnehin die WLAN-Router der Nachbarschaft. Man kann durchaus nur eine von zwei Antennen an der Basisstation ersetzen, um beispielsweise die WLAN-Abdeckung am hinteren Ende des Gartens zu verbessern.
