Unlike western or other styles of drawing, mangakas and animators give a lot of attention and focus on the expression of the eyes in their characters. When viewing these illustrations and animations, one can clearly see a character’s expression just by looking at the eyes of an anime character – expressions like happiness, anger, fear, sadness, anxiety and many others. With eyes as the most important part of a character, it might as well be one of the most difficult part to draw as well because it is usually the part where the mangaka or artist makes the center of detail to convey the characters expression and emotion.
