There are numerous things wrong with my brain that in the future will almost certainly be classified as diseases. THG was a hit with kids way before the movie, but it would be ridiculous to ignore the impact the movie has had on this series. If kids had not read THG prior to watching the film, then many of them have converted to reading and have gone looking for Catching Fire and subsequently Mockingjay. Youtube is the home to many adolescents and can be a virtual vacuum of their time. This being said they can use Youtube to find movie clips, trailers, perhaps even pirated versions of the entire movie, along with an infinite number of spin offs, goofs, and mashups.
