Princeton University: Free Course Offerings Princeton faculty teach noncredit courses in a variety of subjects through the educational websites Coursera and NovoEd, which partner with dozens of U.S. and international universities. Courses offered through these platforms allow for interactive learning through the use of video lectures embedded with quizzes, a wide range of assignments, and online discussion forums. NovoEd courses provide novel ways for learners to join online teams to discuss course material and collaborate on assignments and creative projects. Users from around the globe may access these open courses for free. Princeton faculty are also using online environments to enhance certain classes on campus and engage students in new, highly interactive learning experiences.

During the qualitative research SBCTC conducted in 2014, faculty stressed the need for web resources that provide easy and organized access to OER.
