Save Money and Shop Smart: Know the Style Pyramid Let’s just be honest: style, for men, is a hard thing to grasp. It’s especially hard when buying new clothes. We always forget our sizes, we don’t know how things are supposed to fit, and we can never figure out what matches or looks good. Sometimes what we buy ends up sitting in the closet because we don’t like the way it fits or looks when we wear it. My favorite tool for selecting clothes that look good on you is the Style Pyramid. It’s a simple three-step rubric: Fit, Fabric, and Style. Fit, Fabric, & Style – The Style Pyramid A piece of clothing that doesn’t meet all three criteria is a piece of clothing you’re better off not wearing. Fit sits at the top of the pyramid. Work your way through the pyramid in this order when you’re thinking about buying clothes. When all three intersect — then it’s time to buy. Fit Fit is at the top of the pyramid for a reason. The way your clothes sit on your body affect the way they look to others more than anything else about them. Shirt Fit Jacket Fit

Stylish Curves :: The Fashion Blog About Plus Size Shopping Stocks Basics: What Are Stocks? The Definition of a Stock Plain and simple, stock is a share in the ownership of a company. Stock represents a claim on the company's assets and earnings. As you acquire more stock, your ownership stake in the company becomes greater. Being an Owner Holding a company's stock means that you are one of the many owners (shareholders) of a company and, as such, you have a claim (albeit usually very small) to everything the company owns. A stock is represented by a stock certificate. Being a shareholder of a public company does not mean you have a say in the day-to-day running of the business. The management of the company is supposed to increase the value of the firm for shareholders. For ordinary shareholders, not being able to manage the company isn't such a big deal. Another extremely important feature of stock is its limited liability, which means that, as an owner of a stock, you are not personally liable if the company is not able to pay its debts.
