The Queen of Creative Reuse: Bright Ideas for Incandescent Bulbs The incandescent bulbs that shone so merrily in the Queen's palaces all her life and yours, Dear Reader, is going to be phased out by the federal government. They will eventually no longer be allowed to be sold in the United States. People will be looking for creative things to do with all those incandescent lamps (subject of a future Trashy Wench blog, I'm sure) and all the bulbs in those lamps, regardless of whether they are working or burnt out bulbs. The incandescent bulbs come in all sorts of shapes and sizes, all with wonderful curves of all shapes, sort of like the Wench and her wonderful female friends! Hot Air Balloon Decorations Mini Terrariums Plant rooters and vases Micro Oil Lamps Dried or Silk Flower Ornaments Glamorous globes for miniature light strings Bear in mind that working with incandescent bulbs can cause injury; you will want to wear work gloves when handling them, along with eyewear protection, Dear Reader.
How to Make a Money Rose Bunch the petals together with the bud in the center and slide them around the outside of it until they look natural. Then, take the floral tape, starting just under the bloom, pulling steadily to keep the tape stretched, and tape down the bundle of wires. If desired, a small collar of artificial rose leaves or an artificial ring of rose sepals can be placed at the base of the bloom to add more realistic detail.

Disney Parks Blog Anyone want $1 million? Well, Walt Disney Studios is prepared to give that much money away as part of the world premiere of its new movie “Million Dollar Arm,” in which a sports agent (played by Jon Hamm) concocts a scheme to find a young cricket pitcher he can turn into a Major League Baseball star. Walt Disney Studios is staging a contest on April 25th and 26th to find a real-life “million dollar arm” by offering guests (you have to be age 18 and over with no prior professional baseball experience) the chance to throw the fastest strike. Here’s how it works: Participants at three locations; Walt Disney World Resort, Disneyland Resort and New York City, get three chances to throw a baseball as fast as possible. Participants who throw the three fastest strikes at each location will be flown to the finals in Hollywood, Calif., where they will attend the world premiere of Disney’s “Million Dollar Arm” on May 6 and get a chance to compete for the grand prize.
