Thrive Content Builder - Live WordPress Front End Editor The Dark Side of the "Visual" Editor for WordPress Market... Front end editors (a.k.a. Visual editors) for WordPress are all the rage, these days. Back when we first created Thrive Architect (called “Thrive Content Builder” at the time), we were the first to make a front end editor. But since, the trend has caught on and many other plugins have appeared. Unfortunately for you, there’s one big problem that many of them have: they’re only pretending to be front end editors… This happens when a developer chooses the lazy option (because creating a real visual editor is difficult). Basically, they’re trying to sell you a front end editor, but they don’t want to do the hard work of actually building a front end editor.
Guy Kawasaki How will we all keep busy when we only have to work 15 hours a week? That was the question that worried the economist John Maynard Keynes when he wrote his short essay “Economic Possibilities for Our Grandchildren” in 1930. Over the next century, he predicted, the economy would become so productive that people would barely need to work at all. For a while, it looked like Keynes was right: In 1930 the average workweek was 47 hours. But then something changed. So what happened? There would be no mystery in this if Keynes had been wrong about the economy’s increasing productivity, which he thought would lead to a standard of living “between four and eight times as high as it is today.” In a new paper, Friedman tries to figure out why that increased productivity has not translated into increased leisure time. A third possibility proves more convincing: American inequality means that the gains of increasing productivity are not widely shared. The prosperity Keynes predicted is here.

The project started as an experiment, I was just learning Node at the time and decided to see if I could scrape Awwwards for some data visualization. Matt developed a tool which requests each page of the Awwwards winner gallery, then searches the HTML for all the available metadata like site name, author, date, URL, thumbnail, etc. The result is this brilliant data visualization in which each site is represented as a pie graph showing the distribution of its 3 primary colors. 1. 20 Sites of the Day with Great Color Schemes In the second part of this article, we have done a list the color palettes which have been the most present over the last few months.
