Men in Black 3 Trailer Packs in Aliens, Will Smith and a Surprise Tag The long road to bringing Men in Black 3 to life has been one full of harsh bumps and sharp curves. From writer swapping to actor juggling to storyline shuffling, no piece has fit smoothly into place for the new movie, that re-teams MIB 1 & 2 director Barry Sonnenfeld with stars Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones. But really, who cares what happens behind-the-scenes on a movie set? It's all about the end product, and with its first trailer, Men in Black delivers on the goods. The movie doesn't appear to have strayed far from the formula: we've got a fast talking Smith, some crazy looking weaponry, a bizarre array of alien species (including one that looks like graffiti, a flash of the neuralizer and Tommy Lee Jones (comically) acting like a brick wall. If Men in Black 3 is going to work as a movie, it'll have to step it up in the plot twist department, and the one hinted at in the trailer looks fun. 10 things designers need to know about iOS 7 | Apple Apple has long been criticised for the slightly haphazard approach it's taken to the user interface design of its apps, and the iOS platform in general. Some apps have featured heavily skeuomorphic design, while others have been purely functional with little or no design flourish. Yesterday, though, that all changed. This shift in approach is a game changer to designers responsible for crafting iOS app interfaces. We’ve scoured Apple’s Transition Guide and picked out the 10 most important considerations for designers. Read all our app design-related articles here 01. One of the most important changes in iOS 7 for interface designers is the introduction of transparency and translucency. The status bar is now transparent, while navigation bars, tab bars, tool bars and other user controls have adopted translucency. 02. Buttons in iOS 7 don’t have borders and backgrounds like they did in iOS 6 and earlier versions of the operating system. 03. 04. 05. 06. 07. 08. 09. 10.

Evie Read is an active five-year-old - but ataxia-telangiectasia will rob her of ability to speak and walk while leaving her mind untouched Twenty children in the UK are diagnosed with ataxia-telangiectasia every yearProgressive condition will slowly rob Evie of her physical abilities. There is no known cure By Claire Bates Updated: 10:23 GMT, 29 February 2012 If you saw Evie playing with a group of her school friends, the only difference you might notice is that she is sometimes a little unsteady on her feet. Tragically her 'wobbly legs' are due to a devastating underlying condition, that will slowly rob the bright blonde girl of her physical abilities while leaving her mentally alert. The rare disorder known as ataxia-telangiectasia - A-T for short - is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects around 20 children in the UK each year. Big sister: Evie, 5, (pictured left with her brother Wilf, 3) has a condition that causes progressive disability and premature death. Evie's father Toby Read, 37, said the day he and his wife Emily had received the diagnosis in September 2011 was the worst of their lives.
Lucid Dreaming “It’s the only way to fly.” Lucid dreaming is the experience of being completely aware within a dream that you are, in fact, in a dream. This realization leads to complete power for the dreamer, allowing him/her to go anywhere and do anything in their dream. You might have had this happen to you once or twice in your life, but chances are the dream didn’t last very long. 1) Master Dream Re-Call Before you can lucid dream, you have to be able to remember that dreams that you have so that you can improve your technique. Second, figure out your method for recording your dreams when you do remember them. If you are having trouble remembering dreams even with these methods, you can set alarms to wake you up during your REM sleep cycle so that you will always wake up during your dream. 2) Carry Over Some Consciousness Pick a night when you are so tired that you will fall asleep as soon as you hit the bed…but don’t. 3) Reality Checks If step 2 isn’t allowing you to go lucid, try reality checks.

- StumbleUpon Forget long wear lipstick and stains. Right now, we're wondering if we'll never need to reapply again. When we tried Urban Decay Super-Saturated lip color ($19), we expected it to be bright, but we didn't expect it to last through breakfast, lunch, and snacks seemingly unfazed. In fact, we just assumed it had worn off when we caught ourselves in the bathroom mirror and realized that it was still there and almost as vivid as it had been six hours before. The secret to its invincibility appears to lie in its massive pigment payoff. The only downside is that the high opacity limits the color's versatility.
