Amazing Steampunk Sculptures Retro and Gothic and Steampunk are the right words to describe his art style. It is a clash between the peaceful nature and the raw material. French artist Pierre Matter is showing the world how beautiful copper can be by creating extraordinary sculptures out of it. Mixing it with resin, , bronze, rubber, aluminium and other materials his creations are simply fantastic. He want us to be aware of how we are living in a time where those two have interfered, and he says that even cows are just milk-making machines. It honestly looks like he has used old junk and shaped in into amazing creations; you can find anything from fishes and sharks to horses and bulls.

Using shadows to create a street art & This Blog Rules | Why go elsewhere? Instead of drawing graffiti on the walls, a NYC street artist Michael Neff has decided to use the shadows that lamp posts make to create street art. Neff is only using chalk and stone sediment to outline the shadows into stencils looking like figures or just simple art. This kind of street art is very neat and impressive to come across in the late hours. See more of Neff’s work here. With a background in Film and Television effects, he has been a commercial sculptor for 11 years, the last 5 working on his own art full time. Hi Sam, could you tell us a little about your background? How did you get started? I’ve always loved sculptural realism in art. Its evolved over the years but a beautifully sculpted figure always inspires me. What are you currently working on? Could you talk through the creative process for one of your recently completed projects? What do you hope the viewer will take away from your sculptures? Which of your projects has been the most rewarding? Your techniques seem similar to movie prop making? Which artists have influenced you, what has been an inspiration? Do you have any advice for people looking to get into sculpting and the creative industry? where can people see your work?
