8tracks - StumbleUpon

Drop files here to add tracks or artwork to your mix Thirteen tracks that start out in an old library with sun filtering in through the window, lighting up all the dust particles, then move to the state when you're only focused on your paper/speech/whatever, then some chill music so your brain doesn't explode. A little over an hour, including music by Deadmau5, Sufjan Stevens, and Balmorhea.

Fluid Simulator - StumbleUpon Check out my blog! E-mail: Fluid Instructions: You can drag the fluid around with your mouse and adjust the sliders at the top to change the properties of the fluid in real-time. OpenAi - - about us The OpenAI site is centered around an Open Source project and community involving artificial intelligence. The term "Open Source" means that the source code for the project is available for free and can be used by others free of charge. Artificial Intelligence refers to the general aim of intelligent computing, making machines think and learn. The project itself is the creation of a set of tools that are considered to be models of human intelligence. These tools are intended to be integrated into programs or used stand alone for research.

Thinking Machine 4 - StumbleUpon Thinking Machine 4 explores the invisible, elusive nature of thought. Play chess against a transparent intelligence, its evolving thought process visible on the board before you. The artwork is an artificial intelligence program, ready to play chess with the viewer. If the viewer confronts the program, the computer's thought process is sketched on screen as it plays. A map is created from the traces of literally thousands of possible futures as the program tries to decide its best move. Those traces become a key to the invisible lines of force in the game as well as a window into the spirit of a thinking machine.

Machine Learning in Games Development In this article, I shall outline the current perceptions of 'Machine Learning' in the games industry, some of the techniques and implementations used in current and future games, and then explain how to go about designing your very own 'Learning Agent'. The Games Industry Machine Learning has been greeted with a certain amount of caution by games developers, and until recently, has not been used in any major games releases.

Wild New Design: Data Center in A Silo « Data Center Knowledge A diagram of the design of the CLUMEQ Colossus supercomputer, from a recent presentation by Marc Parizeau of CLUMEQ. Here’s one of the most unusual data center designs we’ve seen. The CLUMEQ supercomputing center in Quebec has worked with Sun Microsystems to transform a huge silo into a data center. The cylindrical silo, which is 65 feet high and 36 feet wide with two-foot thick concrete walls, previously housed a Van de Graaf particle accelerator. When the accelerator was decommissioned, CLUMEQ decided to convert the facility into a high-performance computing (HPC) cluster known as Colossus. We first noted the development of the CLUMEQ site earlier this year when Marc Hamilton of Sun discussed its unique design, but offered scant details.
