Sarah's blog | OlyBlog Jimmy Marr and his wife (don't know her name) have long been a problem in Oregon. For instance there is a 2011 report of them regularly harassing people in Eugene, outside of a popular coffee house. The two photos here of their salutes are from that report. Since Jimmy was active in the recent Olympia White Man March, active in photo ops at the time and forum discussions after, I've been reading up a bit on him. Village Voice has an article up on the March 15 White Man March: Racists Declare White Man March a Success, Everyone Else Wonders If It Actually Happened The Village Voice article includes an Olympia photo. Protest On Wall Street Is Louder Online Than Off Even by participants’ own estimates, the ongoing OccupyWallStreet demonstration in New York City hasn’t been very big--between 500 and 700 protestors near the famous bronze bull statue at its peak on Saturday afternoon attended, and perhaps 200 slept over in a park near Ground Zero on Saturday and Sunday nights. But this small action against bank bailouts, public spending cuts, and money in politics has drawn an outsized presence in the tech and media world. "This couldn’t have happened without Tahrir Square," said a Rutgers student named Annalee (few protestors would give their last names). "I was there a week before, and I knew something was up.
