Amazingly Creative Drawing Vs Photography This wonderful work has done by a very talented Belgian painter, illustrator, portraitist, caricaturist and photographer Ben Heine. This creative artist was born in Abidjan, Ivory Coast. He Studied graphic arts and sculpture and I also have a degree in journalism. Psychadellivision by ~Volcanic-Penguin on deviantART Stunning Self-Portraits by a 17-Year-Old (18 photos) Like Valerie Chiang or Kalie Garrett, Alex Stoddard is one of those talented teenage photographers who knows how to express themselves. His self-portraits are all incredibly unique and after viewing them you're left wondering where he's going to take you next. What I enjoy most is that you can almost feel his passion come through. His commitment to not only executing on an idea but doing it well, is apparent to anyone who sees his photos. I got in touch with Alex to ask him a few questions, including how his style evolved while taking on the 365 project. What have you learned from your 365 project? Your photos are all beautifully artistic. I see that you're friends with Rosie Hardy. How has Flickr helped you develop your style? Are there any quotes you live by? Thanks for the interview, Alex. Check out more of Alex's incredible photos on his Flickr page.

Dream Big by Peter Fecteau “Dream Big” was a year-long project in which Pete created a mosaic of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. using 4,242 Rubik’s Cubes. > petefecteau.com Popular Architecture Art Prints Popular Architecture « PrevNext » « Prev1234 ... 80Next » Video Transcript What is art? From the materials we use to the hands that ply them, we match the care that goes into everything we make to that of the artist that designed it. It begins with those thousands of artists entrusting their original work to another. It's the paper that isn't just paper, but pressed European cotton. It's the archival quality inks that mean your print outlives you. It's the craftsmen that print, cut, check and pack your art. All together, thousands of steps were taken to make your Art Print. This is our process. This is our art.

Astounding Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles art brings the cartoon heroes to grim reality Screenshots for comparison: www.bit.ly/je1QcY www.bit.ly/kimOUj www.bit.ly/kiq7lg www.bit.ly/urqRn No complaints, these new depictions are brilliant, but from a art direction standpoint, there's nothing new here. By the way, I've been a big defender of the redesign, but the new comment system really sucks at handling links and images. The image field doesn't work, and it doesn't resolve urls properly (I had to resort to bit.ly, and even that didn't work correctly) What's really driving me batty is that the system exhibits all sorts of unexpected behavior.

Scraping Away the Skin on Skull Nickels — Atomik – We Find The Awesome For You By James on September 28th, 2011 at 3:07 pm Art, Picture Pages Welcome Stumblers! Help We Are Atomik grow! The term “Hobo Nickel” describes any small-denomination coin (though, normally soft nickels) that people carve to create miniature reliefs of…well, all sorts of things. This all sounds stimulating, I know, but have a little faith.
