Marcas que representam países provavelmente são uns dos maiores desafios no design de identidade visuais. Um logo de um país deve representar dezenas de aspectos culturais e geográficos, mas o principal objetivo desses logos é representar esses aspectos para as pessoas que não são do país representado. Símbolos, cores, formas e tipografias são elementos que podem se combinar e criar uma identidade forte para um país. Muitos dos países aqui representados preferem fugir de um ícone específico e para não comprometer, acabam apelando para o uso de elementos da própria bandeira ou símbolos abstratos. Podemos notar que um elemento muito presente nesses logos é o traço à mão, tanto no desenho de ícones quanto na escrita dos nomes.
