Screen GNU Project Introduction to GNU Screen Screen is a full-screen window manager that multiplexes a physical terminal between several processes, typically interactive shells. Each virtual terminal provides the functions of the DEC VT100 terminal and, in addition, several control functions from the ANSI X3.64 (ISO 6429) and ISO 2022 standards (e.g., insert/delete line and support for multiple character sets). www.siamect.com » Process control based on free resources … The solution to all evil… Proview, Arduino and other free software/hardware resources builds interesting concepts for future control systems. Introduction Welcome to the AMP Camp 4 hands-on exercises! These exercises are extended and enhanced from those given at previous AMP Camp Big Data Bootcamps. They were written by volunteer graduate students and postdocs in the UC Berkelay AMPLab. Many of those same graduate students are present today as teaching assistants. The exercises we cover today will have you working directly with the Spark specific components of the AMPLab’s open-source software stack, called the Berkeley Data Analytics Stack (BDAS). You can navigate around the exercises by looking in the page header or footer and clicking on the arrows or the dropdown button that shows the current page title (as shown in the figure below).

Fab lab A fab lab (fabrication laboratory) is a small-scale workshop offering (personal) digital fabrication.[1][2] A fab lab is generally equipped with an array of flexible computer controlled tools that cover several different length scales and various materials, with the aim to make "almost anything".[3] This includes technology-enabled products generally perceived as limited to mass production. While fab labs have yet to compete with mass production and its associated economies of scale in fabricating widely distributed products, they have already shown the potential to empower individuals to create smart devices for themselves. Aston Martin glass phone concept oozes class, just like the cars Aston Martin makes some of the most drool-worthy cars on the planet, so any phone that's going to carry the Aston Martin logo had better look pretty sleek. This transparent phone concept from Mobiado should do the trick, with a wow factor that will get tongues wagging even if you aren't standing next to the car itself. Far from being just a cool phone with a fancy logo slapped onto it, the CPT002 can control many of the car's functions. Just having it in your pocket operates the keyless entry system, and once you're moving the phone can do things like automatically upload pictures from onboard cameras in the car to your social networks, so your friends can see where you're traveling, It will even use its accelerometer to measure your movement in an accident, then adjust the airbag deployment speed and seat belt tensioner to fit the situation.

Some virtual boxes are better than others. It is better than running multi boot os systems. I've had windows crash a linux partition. The reason it happened, I was told, was because windows saw the partition as having a problem and tried to fix it. Never had that problem with a virtual os. by timepeaces Jun 25
