Better Than Takeout Orange Chicken Yesterday as I stood in the kitchen trying to figure out what to make for dinner I wondered to myself, how do those people do it on those shows where they are given random ingredients and are suppose come up with something genius. I think I stood there for a solid 20 minutes looking in the cupboards and staring into the freezer hoping that I would be struck by some ingenious idea. Then I saw the oranges, and it hit me “O-raang Shh-ikun”….that is orange chicken if you can’t understand the accent. I love orange chicken, and I almost always order # 14 Orange Chicken when we order Chinese take out and I wondered to myself if I could make it better at home. This recipe most definitely delivered! The sauce is sweet, tangy, there is no lack in orange flavor, and the red pepper flakes give it just a touch of heat. Combine corn starch, salt, and pepper. As you finish each batch, drain cooked chicken in a paper towel lined plate. Better Than Takeout Orange Chicken Ingredients Chicken 2 eggs, beaten

Ingredients 1 pkg. low fat mozzarella cheese strings (8-10 sticks) 1/2 cup flour 2 large egg whites, lightly beaten 1 cup dry bread crumbs or Italian style panko (seasoned) marinara sauce for dipping Directions 1. I hope you enjoy this delicious, healthy twist on traditional fried mozzarella sticks. What's Cooking? Breakfast Cookies for the Life Hacker on the Go Popular in Food & Drink I love breakfast. I’m one of those people who goes to bed at night thinking about what she’s going to eat the next morning. So, on days when I don’t have time to make a good breakfast, I like to have something on hand that’s nutritious, filling, and tasty. That’s why I came up with these breakfast cookies — they have all the sort of good-for-you stuff you’d expect from a breakfast cookie, like fruit, oats, and almond butter. The recipe is very adaptable — feel free to add other nuts in addition to the almond butter, change the dried fruit, or flavor these with spices like cinnamon and ginger. Ingredients ⅓ cup almond butter1 ripe banana, mashed1 T canola oil2 T honey1 t vanilla⅓ cup milk or almond milk1 cup white whole wheat flour½ t baking soda½ t salt1 cup rolled oats½ cup raisins (optional)½ cup chocolate-covered espresso beans (optional) Method Preheat the oven to 425 F. Healthy Baked Chicken Nuggets | Ginas Skinny Recipes Chunks of all white meat chicken breasts coated in breadcrumbs and parmesan cheese then baked until golden. An easy chicken recipe your whole family will love. What can be more kid friendly than chicken nuggets, even the pickiest kids like them. Serve them with ketchup, bbq sauce or whatever you like to dip your nuggets into. Adults can serve them over your favorite salad for a satisfying lunch. Kids love finger foods or anything you can eat with toothpicks so when my daughter was young I would make her a dish of bite sized goodies she liked such as tomatoes, olives, pasta, etc. and served them with toothpicks and she always cleaned her plate! Once I'm in breading mode I usually make breaded zucchini sticks as well and bake them all at the same time along with some pasta and a salad for a complete meal. Double these for more or make half for less servings. Ingredients: Preheat oven to 425°. Put the olive oil in one bowl and the breadcrumbs, panko and parmesan cheese in another.

*Simply Scratch*: :Baked Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal: Living in Michigan means that when Fall hits, we get to hit the cider mills. It never dawned on me that a lot of other states aren’t fortunate enough to experience apple picking, snacking on piping-hot cinnamon-sugar doughnuts while watching apples being pressed for apple cider. Or are you the soak your oats over night kind? This recipe is crazy easy to prepare, just combine, bake and breakfast will be served in 30 minutes or less! Gather and measure your ingredients. Halve, quarter and remove the center core of an apple. Next just slice and dice one small to medium sized apple… …into small bite-size chunks. Combine oats, apple and brown sugar into a large bowl.
