Attracting Hummingbirds One good way to enjoy the company of hummingbirds is planting a hummingbird garden. In addition to providing them a natural diet, a hummer garden is an excellent way to attract birds to your nearby feeder: since hummingbirds feed by sight on regularly-followed routes - called traplining - their inquisitive nature will quickly lead them to investigate any possible new source of food. A hummer garden is also a great way to capture the birds on film or video, and makes a much nicer backdrop for your photos than the typical plastic feeder. If you plan carefully and select a variety of plants that flower at successively later dates, you will be rewarded with happy hummers throughout the season. Using pesticides around hummingbird plants is a very bad idea. Killing garden pests will also eliminate the small insects hummingbirds rely upon for protein.

Have you got the bottle! ok bottling time! i used the old fashioned siphoning technique of put the bucket high with a tube in. suck the tube till the liquids nearly out then put the end into the bottle. this may seem slightly counterproductive after all the sterilising you did but on the plus side u may be lucky and get a lil taste he he. now me and my bro could only find ten 500ml bottles untill we cleaned out the store.... massive preserving jar to the rescue! box em up and put them back in the cool dry place. like i said i have heard stories of bottles exploding so best to put em in a box somewhere where out of the way that you wont mind cleaning up. Not by your bed, not by your pets bed , not on top of the £5000 LCD TV etc.

Love, Michael Permaculture: Ten steps to an Organic no-dig Garden Organic permaculture takes the closed loop one step further to include insects - both pest and predator. When pesticides are used against insect pests, both pest and predator are eliminated. As most insect pests breed much faster than predators in the food chain, the pests will return quicker than the predators, eventually causing havoc which will result in further applications of pesticides being necessary. The need for continual pesticide application causes the evolution of pests which are immune to pesticides and stronger and stronger applications become necessary. paula white « I'm Speaking Truth… Every year between January and Easter, pulpit pimps begin to lick their chops as they look forward to flogging the sheep into giving to their absolute favorite pyramid scheme of the year – the “First Fruit offering.” Unlike the tithe scam (where the pimp puts a gun to the back of your head every Sunday and Wednesday by threatening holy wrath upon you and your descendants for “robbing God”), the “First Fruit” scam is a 1 day cash windfall for the pimps. Before I go any further, I invite you to watch two brief videos (courtesy of spirituallysound) featuring “Pretty” Paula White – the original Florida Gator – pimping with wreckless abandon.
