I figured this could be automated, so: I automated it, and made a program called ChartThrob, which runs right inside Adobe Photoshop. I let a few folks on APUG and now HybridPhoto try it out, and after a few unexpected glitches (who knew Photoshop could have fractional pixels?), it was ready for public, free-for-everyone abuse. Materiel : disques a zone plate Ces disques à Zone Plate (ou réseau zoné de Fresnel) peuvent être utilisés avec tous les matériels et accessoires que je propose. Ces Zone Plates sont conçues de manière artisanale, à l'aide d'une optique de très haute qualité (Contax Zeiss Macro Planar de 60mm) sur un film à très haut contraste (du type "micro film") équipé d'une base ultra transparente et neutre, et développé dans un révélateur maison. Il en résulte un système de prise de vue alternatif au rendu unique, dans la mouvance du pictorialisme, estompant les détails de façon plus prononcée que le sténopé et avec des temps de pose en général un peu plus courts. Le résultat image ne peut être obtenu qu'avec ce procédé. Chaque fabricant de Zone Plate fournit un matériel qui donnera un résultat unique en fonction de la méthode utilisée pour le fabriquer, du nombre de zones et de la qualité du support film (surtout en ce qui concerne sa transparence). 6x24 pinhole camera? DIY it? Well yes, why not? Inspired by my success with the "I Adore" 6x17 made from a Cognac case, a Vermeer 6x17 curved film plane pinhole camera, and a by no means subtle hint from a friend who sent me a wine bottle case with a pinhole drawn on one side. A wine bottle case then. This would be easier than the 6x17, eeh well. Maybe not. OK, how about a curved film plane? What if the film plane was curved, but not quite semi circular? Lost the hinges, I needed the two halves to slide together. Used foam core to make an insert. Innards painted a flat black. 0.500mm pinhole. Nothing to it! Quite happy with the results, it sure is wide.
Harman DPP et Caffenol : un couple moderne par Anton Pellegaric Introduction En 2001 la société Harman a introduit sur le marché un papier appelé papier positif direct (Direct Positive Paper, DPP) : sur le papier exposé puis développé apparaît une image positive, d'orientation inversée par rapport à la réalité (effet miroir). J'ai testé le Caffenol comme révélateur pour le papier positif direct de chez Harman, pour des raisons - esthétiques (les premiers résultats de papier positif direct publiés sur la toile me semblaient beaucoup trop contrastés), - pratiques (ce révélateur peut être produit n'importe où en quelques minutes) et - écologiques (je ne connais pas d'autre révélateur photo qui puisse être rejeté à l'évier sans trop de mauvaise conscience). Matériel et méthodes Matériel - Un verre doseur pour le Caffenol. - Une balance de cuisine pour le Caffenol Produits - Papier : Harman Direct Positive Paper. On peut acheter ce papier par correspondance, par exemple sur un de ces liens : en France ou en Angleterre. 1. Papier FB
