Blooms Digital Taxonomy for Android November 4, 2015 Blooms traditional taxonomy which was published sometime in the middle of the last century was revised in 2001 and henceforth was labelled Blooms Revised Taxonomy. This revision is a little bit different from the original one in that it replaces nouns with verbs and places emphasis on the process of creating by putting it on the top of the thinking continuum. With the emergence of web 2.0 tools and mobile apps, Bloom's Revised Taxonomy has been re-adapted to incorporate the digital element within it. One of the major contributors to this shift is Andrew Churches whose wiki page features some primer resources on what comes to be labelled Bloom's Digital Taxonomy. VirtualiTeach Without a doubt one of the most innovative educators I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with is Mark Anderson aka ICT Evangelist. Mark and I met in 2015 at the Apple Distinguished Educator Institute in Amsterdam and since then we’ve collaborated on several projects including the App Wars event on iPad Educators, Mark’s #AppShareLive shows and even the first JESS Digital Innovation Summit (which Mark came over to Dubai to keynote for me.) Over the last year, one series of projects that Mark has had huge success with is his Periodic Tables.

A New Fantastic Bloom's Taxonomy Wheel for iPad Apps March 21, 2014 Today while I was browsing through my Twitter feeds I came across this fabulous Bloom's Taxonomy wheel of apps shared by Anthony. If you still recall, some previous versions of this wheel have already been featured here in Bloom's Taxonomy for Teachers section . As you can see, the wheel outlines a wide variety of verbs and activities related to each thinking level of Blooms taxonomy coupled with iPad apps that go with it. These apps are supposed to help teachers and students better cultivate these different thinking levels in their use of iPad apps.
