Chakra Tones and Notes Ruby - Red - Root Chakra Ruby keeps the lower chakras open so energy can move up. It may activate kundalini (in a balanced manner). Mother Mary has infused her energy into this essence which has a profound affect on the heart, strengthening the spiritual heart. Ruby is about mastery and love of self. Ruby teaches you and opens you to the infinite source of divine love. It raises the vibration of the physical body. Each one of these musical notes aligns to one of the twelve major chakras on the physical body and playing the note will help open the chakra and if you hold a pendulum over the aligned chakra and listen to the notes of this scale you will notice that the chakra will spin faster and the energy body and the physical body will recieve more energy from the flow of the higher powers and it is also a great healing technique as well.

Color Blind Chart Pattern baldness in men is a sex-influenced trait. It is not an X-linked trait like color blindness and hemophilia. Baldness is an autosomal trait and is apparently influenced by sex hormones after people reach 30 years of age or older. If B is the allele for baldness and b is the allele for normal hair, a bald man can be heterozygous (Bb) or homozygous bald (BB). If you are a man with a bald father, you are doomed to lose your hair if your father is homozygous bald (BB). If your grandfather on the mother's side of your family is bald, then you have a 50-50 chance of inheriting this gene from your mother: If your grandfather on the mother's side of your family is bald and your father is heterozygous bald, then you have a 75% chance of losing your hair: If your grandfather on the mother's side of your family is bald and your father is homozygous bald, then you have a 100% chance of losing your hair: Baldness Thinking Question

The 13 Chakra System | OneHealsOne What Is A Chakra - Chakras are energy centres in our bodies. They are the openings for 'life energy' to flow in and out of our aura. Their function is to nourish and vitalise our physical body and aid awareness to the development of our consciousness. How do we activate the chakras? We can activate our chakras through the breath, through yoga postures, meditation and prayers, through sound and colour, through singing, through visualisation, and through certain kinds of music. Aura We often hear expressions like “she has a nice aura”, or “he has good energy”. Gateways to consciousnessPsychologist Carl Jung called the chakras the "gateways of consciousness". Phi Ratio and Sacred Geometry Of The Chakras - It has long been known that the Phi Ratio, or Divine Proportion, appears in certain proportions of living organic life, Leonardo Da Vinci’s ‘canon man’ is famous for depicting the phi ratio in the human body. © Copyright 2011 Sarah Livesey

modern color theory (concepts) A Scientific Theory of Color Vision. For many centuries, the behavior of color mixtures was difficult to explain because material color, which seemed to be anchored in "real" objects of the external world, was conceptually distinguished from the "illusory" colors in rainbows or prisms. The two types of mixtures behaved differently, but the reason for the difference was unknown. The trichromatic theory provided the clarifying explanation and prediction of all color sensations as arising in the behavior of the eye. Subtractive Color Mixture. The principles of subtractive color mixture are not a rigorous theory at all. Subtractive mixing theory imitates the main features of additive color theory, and to understand the problems with subtractive color mixing, we need to unmask these points of imitation one by one. Subtractive Mixtures Occur in Substances. In principle, subtractive color theory ought to be able to explain the color changes that occur in any kind of material mixture. 36. 37.

Opening Your Third Eye The Activation, Its Passive Usage Two exercises are given below: Mirror Watching A Single Person Watch your face in a mirror, with dimmed light. Make sure you are alone, or you know that no one will interrupt you, as you have to slip into a very relaxed state of consciousness, where any physical interruption may affect you much deeper. Choose maybe an evening, not a special time, but maybe after work, when you are perhaps already a bit tired physical and mentally. Again, watch your face, relax yourself by a calming suggestion such as, "I'm in peace within myself, I simply watch my face to calm and find peace in me". Don't move with your sight or blink your eyes, because it's necessary to allow your attention to move away from your physical eyes toward your inner eye. Choose a point on your face you focus, and don't change it anymore. The warmth is energy, which you attract by refocusing your attention. You have to release the attention to watch with your physical eyes.

DIY: Pallet sofa Thank you so much for your input on my flea market find yesterday. I appreciate your thoughts, and I will absolutely think twice before I paint it. I´ll probably keep it as it is – at least for now *smile* Anyway I thought I would show you our “pallet sofa” on our balcony today. I have made one out of two pallets covered with pillows and throws. As a table I have used an old wooden crate, so I can decorate with flowers and candles, or simply to have a place to put my coffee. So if you have a small budget for your outside area this year, maybe you can make something similar to my pallet sofa? Do you have any other pallet ideas? (Images: Nina Holst)

Tangeez - Tangible Lights by Emily Webster & Mustafa Bagdatli "Tangeez are wonderful building blocks of light. The magnetic click and the translucent colors are incredibly satisfying. They're continually offering new combinations, and they're impossible to put down. I want a whole wall of them." These “physical pixels” create a tactile, interactive and social experience that allows you to hold and control light. The more you change and rearrange, the more colors you will see. "They've got the simple charm of a set of Dominoes and yet they're like an interactive set of Legos. -Donald Chestnut, Chief Experience Officer, SapientNitro From spaceships to skyscrapers, Christmas trees to robots, Tangeez can be combined and stacked infinitely to build glowing structures of any shape and size. Fun for both young and old alike, Tangeez can be used as ambient lights, educational toys, interactive building blocks, therapeutic tools, camping lights, emergency beacons and much more! Tangeez brighten up any space and are as portable and mobile as you are.

Goethe on the Psychology of Color and Emotion Color is an essential part of how we experience the world, both biologically and culturally. One of the earliest formal explorations of color theory came from an unlikely source — the German poet, artist, and politician Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, who in 1810 published Theory of Colors (public library; public domain), his treatise on the nature, function, and psychology of colors. Though the work was dismissed by a large portion of the scientific community, it remained of intense interest to a cohort of prominent philosophers and physicists, including Arthur Schopenhauer, Kurt Gödel, and Ludwig Wittgenstein. One of Goethe’s most radical points was a refutation of Newton’s ideas about the color spectrum, suggesting instead that darkness is an active ingredient rather than the mere passive absence of light. YELLOWThis is the color nearest the light. Brain Pickings has a free weekly newsletter.

Understand color theory with these 7 facts - = Designer Blog Color is everywhere – in nature, in cities, in stores, online. We’re so used to it we often don’t notice it’s even there, until we suddenly come across a black and white movie on TV. Then we remember how good it is that we have such a colorful world. For that reason alone, if not for improving your design skill set, knowing how color works is a good thing to do. So let’s dive in! 1. Might sound strange but it’s true. Color is created only when our brain tries to make sense from light signals it receives from the outer world. Deprived of color, our world would probably look like a scene from Matrix. Without that, our world is a monochromatic place bathing in electromagnetic radiation of varied intensity and wavelengths. The key takeout? 2. If you ever thought RGB color model is a recent discovery from Silicon Valley, you’d be three centuries off target. We are able to see colors because of red, green and blue receptor cells in our retina. 3. 4. 5. The RGB model The HSB model (or HSL / HSV) 6. 7.
