We Feed The World Every day in Vienna the amount of unsold bread sent back to be disposed of is enough to supply Austria's second-largest city, Graz. Around 350,000 hectares of agricultural land, above all in Latin America, are dedicated to the cultivation of soybeans to feed Austria's livestock while one quarter of the local population starves. Every European eats ten kilograms a year of artificially irrigated greenhouse vegetables from southern Spain, with water shortages the result. In We Feed The World, Austrian filmmaker Erwin Wagenhofer traces the origins of the food we eat. We Feed The World is a film about food and globalisation, fishermen and farmers, long-distance lorry drivers and high-powered corporate executives, the flow of goods and cash flow–a film about scarcity amid plenty. The Creamy Cauliflower Sauce eCookbook Before I launch into talking about this eCookbook, I feel like I should say a quick word about this sauce: this is not made from cream and butter and flour. My hope is that the recipes in this eCookbook can give you meals that you love, with the people you love, that you all feel good about eating. Here’s a little bit more about it… The eCookbook has 30 recipes that use a creamy cauliflower sauce in place of ingredients like Alfredo sauce, canned condensed soup, or heavy cream. All in all, the recipes are simple, practical, family friendly, less than 500 calories per serving, and totally comfort-food-delicious. And I think you’re going to like them. Here are a few of my favorites: An eCookbook is a cookbook in an electronic format. When using your computer, the eCookbook will download right into your Downloads folder.
