Duggy Tee & Baaba Maal – Fulani | Africanhiphop.com Good news from Dakar. Duggy Tee, the ‘other half’ of Senegalese hip hop duo Positive Black Soul (PBS) is back. The emcee/singer whose career in hip hop spans over twenty years disappeared from the spotlights somewhere after the release of PBS’ last international album ‘Run Cool’ in 2001. In the past decade he did release a couple of solo albums but didn’t quite make it back to the international stages he ruled in the late 90s, while his fellow rapper Awadi toured the African continent and Europe by himself. Then in 2009 Duggy and Awadi reunited on stage to celebrate twenty years of Positive Black Soul. The topic of the new single ‘Fulani’ – taken from the forthcoming album ‘Jom’ – refers to the Fulani (also called Peul or Fula) people of northern Senegal.
LA TREMPE One Piece - Bleach - Naruto index Le Tournedisque Hip-Hop Posted by Grubeats on April 8, 2014 Those who have been following Logic from the start know him, his outlook on music, and his demeanor. Confidence > Cockiness. A few noteworthy lines from previous songs… “Never cocky I’m just confident the flow is prominent” – via “Ask ‘Em” “You gotta realize, a lot of the time when I talkAnd I’m talking extremely cocky, I’m not talkingAbout myself, I’m talking about the work.” – via “Numbers” Since his last mixtape, Welcome to Forever, Young Sinatra has further developed his voice into a powerful, charismatic sound. Gotta give it to 6ix, Arthur McArthur, & Swiff D on this one. One more thing – Logic will be touring with Krewella & Radical Something in part of the Verge Campus tour starting this week AND he will also be crossing the country with labelmate QuESt and ©.
