With their tall, slender bodies and expressive faces, these critters are often caught perched on their two hind feet, scanning the savanna for predators. That being said, baby meerkats are even cuter. Photographer Will Burrard-Lucas recently traveled to the Makgadikgadi Pans region of Botswana to snap pictures of the beloved creatures. While there, Burrard-Lucas had the pleasure of capturing various images of a meerkat community that included some three-week-old baby meerkats. Notícias El arqueólogo Miguel Ángel Molinero expondrá en Tenerife los resultados de la primera campaña de excavación en la tumba TT 209 en Luxor, construida en un valle o "wadi" -un emplazamiento poco habitual- para sepultar a un alto cargo de Tebas y en la que se ha descubierto una entrada monumental. Ésta entrada gigantesca, denominada "portada-nicho", es específica de las tumbas-templo tebanas de las dinastías XXV y XXVI, es decir, entre el 755 y el 525 antes de la era, y ha sido el descubrimiento más significativo de esta primera campaña, según se explica en la página en internet de los Museos del Cabildo de Tenerife. Precisamente este miércoles en el Museo de la Naturaleza y el Hombre hablará Miguel Ángel Molinero, que es profesor titular de Egiptología en la Universidad de La Laguna, sobre la misión arqueológica en la que participa el centro docente y los objetivos de esta primera campaña en la tumba-templo TT209, situada en Asasif Sur, en la orilla occidental de Luxor.
