Implementing motivational speeches, videos of user testimonials, and product images into a home page can have a positive impact on viewers, as well as give shoppers an extra push to look further into a product. What is Shapeshift? Inspired heavily by the jQuery Masonry plugin, Shapeshift is a plugin which will dynamically arrange a collection of elements into a column grid system similar to Pinterest. What sets it apart is the ability to drag and drop items within the grid while still maintaining a logical index position for each item. S’il y a bien un point commun que l’on retrouve dans la plupart des sites, c’est bien le système de navigation à la verticale. C’est comme ça, nous avons pris l’habitude de lire de gauche à droite, certes, mais aussi et surtout de haut en bas. Et pourtant… Pourtant, avec un peu d’imagination, il est possible de faire des miracles, comme ces 12 sites qui ont décidé de bâtir un système de navigation à l’horizontal. A la fois sobre et minimaliste, le site de BBH ne manque pas de chien. Dean Oakley Le portfolio de Dean Oakley est une charmante surprise. Faub Chapeau bas pour cette œuvre graphique tout-à-fait originale. Ladio Autant vous prévenir tout de suite, sur cette sélection, Ladio est mon préféré. LoveBento La encore, on peut dire que le plus grand soin a été apporté à l’interface de ce site et à la manière dont sont présentées les informations. IKEA Cardboard Digital Camera
IKEA the Swedish furniture manufacturer has created a innovative cardboard digital camera, which was included in press packs given out, during the 2012 Fuorisalone, a design expo in Milan. The cardboard digital camera is powered by 2 AA batteries, and is equipped with an internal memory card that is capable of holding up to 40 photographs. Once the camera’s internal memory is full, small USB connector can be swivelled out in one corner, from in-between the cardboard. To provide you with an easy way to transfer your photographs from the camera and onto your computer.
