By 2008, the universe of applications developed to enhance the Twitter experience was boundless. While the ecosystem was burgeoning with apps, the ability to track and manage the apps designed for specific purposes was elusive. I spent the better part of Fall 2008 studying and organizing the available Twitter apps available for new marketing, community management, and customer service professionals. The Twitterverse (Alpha) To commemorate the move, I partnered once again with Jesse Thomas and JESS3 to visualize the most effective and productive tools for Twitter. Un informe elaborado por la reconocida empresa encargada de estudios de mercado online AYTM, así lo revela. Concretamente habla de un 42% de usuarios que ‘pasa’ de utilizar la red de microblogging de forma activa. El estudio, realizado el pasado mes marzo, analizó la actitud de 200 personas cada vez que éstas se disponían a utlizar la red de los 140 caracteres. Un dato muy relevante y que viene a poner de manifiesto lo que un servidor, y otros millones de personas, pensamos sobre esta red social desde hace algún tiempo. Sin entrar a definir qué es Twitter y sus posibilidades, a nadie se le escapa que es la red informativa más vasta, ya sea por la cantidad de información como de informadores de primera mano que se encuentran entre sus usuarios donde la actualidad es el eje que mueve todo el engranaje.
