FreeCAD | Free Graphics software downloads PTC Releases Creo Elements/Direct v19.0 PTC Releases Creo Elements/Direct v19.0 Posted by Barb Schmitz on Wednesday, June 18, 2014 · Leave a Comment Another announcement made at this year’s PTC Live Global event was the release of PTC Creo Elements/Direct 19.0, direct modeling software that now includes productivity enhancements in modeling, drafting, collaboration and data management. Collaboration seems to remain a tricky task for distributed design teams juggling format in multiple CAD file formats. “The new import capabilities in PTC Creo Elements/Direct 19.0, formerly known as CoCreate, will allow us to collaborate more effectively with companies using different CAD tools,” said Nobuaki Sugimoto, mechanical designer, Icom, Inc. PTC Creo Elements/Direct 19 now offers support for multi-CAD environments, via Unite technology Enhancements to Creo Elements/Direct include: * Support for Multi-CAD Collaboration. * Optimized Design Workflows. * New Concept Design Capabilities. * New Sheet Metal Capabilities.

Lee Mac Programming: Custom Programs for AutoCAD Creo View MCAD | Визуализация изделия | Технические данные 3D CAD | PTC Most companies use a variety of tools for creating digital product design content. However, many people need to view and interrogate that information, which means that high-performing, easy-to-use visualization tools are now indispensable. PTC Creo View MCAD enables you to easily visualize products and gain valuable engineering design insight. It also supports 3D data from all major MCAD tools, as well as drawings and documents from a multitude of sources. Complex information can be quickly accessed to reduce rework and improve decision-making. And, since PTC Creo View ECAD and PTC Creo View MCAD both utilize the same framework, users can perform functions such as cross-probing between ECAD/MCAD abstractions.

PyCAM - Toolpath Generation for 3-Axis CNC machining Creo Illustrate | Трехмерная техническая иллюстрация | Конструкция изделия | PTC PTC Creo Illustrate combines 3D illustration capabilities with associative CAD data to deliver configuration-specific graphical information — information that reflects the current product design — for operating, servicing and maintaining products. It enables users to create 3D technical illustrations that clearly communicate complex products and procedures. The software interprets heterogeneous CAD formats and is fully integrated with PTC Windchill, PTC Creo and PTC Arbortext products — to deliver fast, up-to-date 3D information for the support of products throughout their lifecycle.

GWizard: A CNC Machinist's Calculator for Feeds and Speeds We obsessed over G-Wizard It took years, we analyzed data from over 250 tooling catalogs, we built a powerful cutting physics engine with advanced algorithms that consider almost 60 different variables, and we worked with over 50,000 CNC'ers like yourself to make sure you'd have Better Tool Life, Surface Finish, and MRR with G-Wizard Master your Feeds and Speeds the easy way with G-Wizard. "I've been asking for this for 30 years from the CAM guys. How much do you spend on cutters in a year? G-Wizard pays for itself very quickly--you'll see in the 30-day Free Trial. "I'm in my 27th year and seen my share of 'machinist aid' software and this BY FAR packs the most punch for the dollar. "I'm a total Newbie on hobby mill and had the crazy idea to jump right in on some plasma cut hardened steel. "I am amazed at all the data that is available when using the G-Wizard. See what else people are saying about G-Wizard

Creo | Визуализация | Жизненный цикл разработки изделий | PTC Efficiently Share Digital Product Data The product development lifecycle utilizes a variety of content from many different sources. One of the biggest issues faced by many manufacturers is how to efficiently share and utilize the large volume of digital product content created throughout the product development process. PTC Creo visualization and 3D technical illustration products offer superior integration with PTC Windchill, PTC Creo, PTC Arbortext, a variety of 2D and 3D MCAD and ECAD applications and over 200 other document types to give everyone in the enterprise access to product information. With PTC Creo visualization and 3D technical illustration tools, everyone who needs to can view, mark up, interact, collaborate and distribute all forms of digital product data.

Subroutine G-Code~Solsylva CNC Plans Offsets G52 and Subroutine M98 and M99 There are a number of ways to use free or inexpensive 2D or 2.5D software to cut deeper or thicker stock than would be allowed with the single pass that is generated with the software. Mach3 has a Z offset function that lowers the Z axis on each successive pass. This function is straightforward and is described in the Mach3 manual. A simple way to lower the Z on each pass is to move the Z axis to a lower level by hand, and to then repeat the cut. A similar method is to jog the Z axis lower and to re-zero the software to the new position before each new pass. Another way to lower the Z on each pass is the subroutine below. Note: With any of these methods it is important for the original clearance plane to be high enough to prevent the router from cutting into the stock as it is offset downward. This subroutine g-code can also be used to repeat any section of the g-code. In the right image, one part was designed to be milled from flat bar.
