It’s not that the house is decorated and I am through with my shopping. Aside from that, we are done with the party for a special group of friends so we are left with one more get-together with another group of friends. House decorating I don’t usually do since we rarely celebrate Christmas at home as we are usually on a trip during the jolly season. Hopefully, I can do that when we have our own house. Mel Stampz DIY Geometric Favor Boxes | Ruffled We can barely contain our excitement to share our newest DIY project with you all! The ladies from HEYLOOK sent over these incredible geometric faceted favor boxes (polyhedron), perfect for a display table of their own or for use as place cards at each guest’s seat! Without further ado, here’s how to get started: Instructions: Print this template onto thin cardboard stock or thick paper in the colors of your choice. We chose a set of strong colors, but these would also look super-cute in pastels or in gold, silver and/or bronze. Cut out along the straight lines, then fold along the dotted lines. Try to assemble the box without gluing it first, so you can see which sides go where. Now you can start to assemble the boxes with paper glue. Cut out small strips of paper and add texts. I remember as a child going on carousel rides in Asbury Park, NJ in the summer. Here is the PDF. Here is the .Studio file. Glue the cones as shown. Glue the cones together to make the top of the carousel. Top of Carousel Glue strips to the border as shown. Slide the small strips of paper over a glue stick. Form into a circle and glue. Bend the tabs upward. Glue as shown Bend into a circle and glue together. Completed design. Add the circle. This is what it looks like when you turn it over. Using a glue stick, glue the second circle and place it in the center of the lid. Placing the circle in the center of the lid. Completed lid. Bend the tabs and put glue as shown on the box. Form the box as shown. Add the unglued circle to the center of the box. Turn the box over and add the glued circle to the bottom of the box. Completed box. Glue the horses as shown. Make the short tube. Attach the top of the carousel.
