'Inhale' pendant lamp by Nendo for Lasvit (CZ The making of ‘Inhale’ pendant lamp by Nendo for Lasvit The ultra-prolific Japanese design practise Nendo has collaborated with a Czech manufacturer of bespoke light fittings and glass installations Lasvit on this delicate, organically-shaped pendant light called ‘Inhale’. Owing its name to the innovatory production process, in which the form is obtained by a negative air pressure, the design was exhibited as part of Nendo’s delicate, all-white ‘Still & Sparkling’ installation during this year’s edition of Milan’s Salone del Mobile. ‘Inhale’ pendant lamp at ‘Still & Sparkling’ exhibition, Superstudio Piu; photo © Architonic More about ‘Inhale’: ‘This lamp was formed by blowing glass into the form of an air bubble then sucking the air away.
