"The Hunger Games" Viral Campaign Heats Up Lionsgate has just rolled out the second phase in its new viral campaign for the upcoming film, The Hunger Games. The studio launched the first teaser trailer for the film — which is based on a trilogy of books — at the MTV VMAs on Sunday. At the end of the trailer was a hashtag: #whatsmydistrict. This hashtag led intrepid Twitter users on a chase to find a hidden website. Twitter user @@TheCapitolPN responded to users on Twitter and the website, thecapitol.pn was eventually revealed. Over the last few days, that site has shown a fading image that has become more and more clear. That stage starts now. Viral campaigns for movies are nothing new, but we're impressed with the intricate lengths Lionsgate is going to promote this title. The Hunger Games doesn't hit theaters until March 23, 2012 but this type of viral promotion could help make the film a bigger draw next spring.

El diseño podía estar muy logrado, pero para cuando cargaba la web se había acabado toda mi paciencia. De aquí que empecé a preguntarme de qué es lo más importante en el diseño web responsive, si que el contenido se adapte al dispositivo en cuestión, o que la web cargue rápido. Está claro que es imprescindible a estas alturas que toda web se adapte al ancho de ventana del navegador de todos los dispositivos. Pero olvidar el rendimiento web a favor de un diseño web más sofisticado no es más que un error. Si el peso de la página aumenta, el rendimiento disminuye.
