Sasuke Uchiha (うちはサスケ, Uchiha Sasuke) is one of the last surviving members of Konohagakure's Uchiha clan. He became a shinobi so he could someday grow strong enough to exact revenge against his older brother, Itachi, who had slaughtered their entire clan. Initially a member of Konoha's Team 7, Sasuke defected from the village to obtain power from Orochimaru, and later also joined Akatsuki, becoming an international criminal in the process. He later proves instrumental in ending the Fourth Shinobi World War, redeeming himself and his family name. Background Sasuke is the second and youngest son of the Konoha Military Police Force captain and Uchiha clan head: Fugaku Uchiha, and his wife Mikoto and the first of Indra Ōtsutsuki's reincarnations to be born into the era of relative peace. Kakashi Hatake (はたけカカシ, Hatake Kakashi) is a shinobi of Konohagakure. He received a Sharingan from his former team-mate, Obito Uchiha, when he was younger, leading him to fame as Copy Ninja Kakashi (コピー忍者のカカシ, Kopī Ninja no Kakashi) and Kakashi of the Sharingan (写輪眼のカカシ, Sharingan no Kakashi). His prodigious talent, skill, and Sharingan prowess have made him one of the village's most capable ninja, and as such, highly recognised throughout the ninja world. He is eventually appointed the leader of Team 7, where he uses his years of experience to train his students to become skilled ninja in their own rights. Background Early life Kakashi is the son of Sakumo Hatake, a genius renowned as "Konoha's White Fang".[12] Little is known of his mother other than that she died at a young age.[13] After successfully passing his entrance exam to join the Academy, he met Might Guy, who despite Kakashi belittling Guy's lack of any natural talent as Guy failed his exam, quickly came to like Kakashi.

Sai (サイ, Sai) is an Anbu of Konohagakure. Raised as a member of Root, Sai has no emotions and has difficulty connecting with others. When he is added to Team Kakashi as a replacement for Sasuke Uchiha, he begins to learn about people's feelings and tries to develop himself by forming bonds and developing emotions. Background Sai was orphaned as a child and recruited into Root, a secret branch of the Anbu. Over time, Sai came to think of Shin as an older brother and looked up to him. During his time in Root, Sai was ordered to eliminate a large number of individuals that posed a threat against Konoha. Personality When first introduced, Sai was distinguished by his total lack of emotion which he often masks with a false, cheerful, yet transparent façade. Yamato (ヤマト, Yamato) is an Anbu in the service of Konohagakure. Because of his unique Wood Release, he is added to Team Kakashi as a temporary replacement for Kakashi Hatake to help keep the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox inside Naruto in check. Though Kakashi eventually returns to the team, Yamato stays on to provide assistance when he's needed. "Yamato" is actually a codename given to him for the purposes of joining Team Kakashi,[3] his previous codename from his Anbu days was Tenzō (テンゾウ, Tenzō).[4] His real name is unknown. Background Yamato graduated from the Academy at the age of six, and at that same age, was promoted to the rank of chūnin.[1] As a child, the boy was abducted by Orochimaru and became one of sixty children that were his test subjects.
