Parmesan Roasted Potatoes
There’s one very important fact I have not shared with you yet. You know what? I love potatoes. See? I told you it was important. Not only do I love potatoes but I also am a very avid potato recipes collector. I’ve already gathered many potato related recipes and I am definitely going to share many of them with you. I’ve discovered this gem of a recipe over at sweet Gaby’s blog, and I will forever be thankful for that moment. These potatoes have cheese, these potatoes have garlic, these potatoes are simply good… To prepare them, you need these simple ingredients. The preparation is very simple too. 1. 2. The sides of the potato cubes should be about 3/4 inch long (2 cm). And the cubes are definitely not going to be even, but don’t let that bother you. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. Serve with a little dusting of sea salt if desired. Oh, and most importantly – enjoy, dear friends. These lovely garlic and cheese potatoes can be eaten as is, or with vegetable salad, or with any kind of your favorite meat.

Recipe for Honey Mustard Chicken Tenders at Life Honey mustard is always a must with chicken tenders in our house. For that reason, it is shocking to me that I never thought to combine the two before cooking. That’s right, these crispy lovelies are marinated in honey mustard dressing for a couple of hours so that the tender chicken soaks up all the sweet tangy flavor of the dressing. Then, like my sriracha chicken nuggets, these little devils are coated in panko bread crumbs so that they crisp up very nicely in your oven, not your fryer. I started making my own honey mustard dressing a little while ago.

Craving Curly Fries? Biggest Loser chef, Devin Alexander Shares Her Healthy, Easy Recipe As host of “Healthy Decadence with Devin Alexander” on FitTV and the bestselling author of numerous cookbooks including “The Biggest Loser” cookbook series, Devin Alexander is dedicated to making good food with a healthy twist. Her passion for the subject began 15 years ago, when she lost 55 pounds. Since then, she’s been able to keep the weight off by focusing on delicious (even decadent!) dishes that are high on flavor but easy on the waistline. When I was a kid, I would have eaten any food that was curly—curly fries, chocolate curls, curled carrots, even green onion curls and fusilli (spiral pasta). By junior high, I’d found Arby’s Curly Fries to satisfy my curl craving. Anyhow, now that I can make them with only a few more calories and fat than I’d get from a baked potato.Though I’ve made these fries dozens of times, the decadent taste continually surprises me. Don’t have the time (or patience) to curl the fries?

Dulce de Leche Brownies Dulce de Leche Brownies At seven o’clock last night I had a chocolate craving. I approach the pantry and see a can of Dulce de Leche and instantly think caramel brownies. I have been wanting to try a new brownie so I did a quick Google search and found these babies. Being seven at night and the fact that I live in the middle of nowhere, I used semi-sweet chocolate chips because that’s what I had. If you aren’t familiar with Dulce de Leche it is basically caramel, like caramelized sweetened condensed milk (I can eat it straight out of the can). Dulce de Leche Brownies Adapted from The Sweet Life in Paris (Broadway Books) David Lebovitz Ingredients: 8 tablespoons salted or unsalted butter, cut into pieces 6 ounces semisweet chocolate, finely chopped 1/4 cup unsweetened Dutch-process cocoa powder 3 large eggs 1 cup sugar 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 cup flour optional: 1 cup toasted pecans or walnuts, coarsely chopped 1 cup Dulce de Leche Cooking Directions: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

Individual Parmesan Hash Brown Cups I made these hash brown cups to serve at the bridal shower brunch I co-hosted a couple of weeks ago. They accompanied quiche (made by my friend Becky), Mango Fruit Salad Salsa with Sugar and Spice Tortilla Chips, and Make-Ahead Sticky Buns. I love hash browns with a crispy exterior and moist tender interior. By cooking these hash browns in muffin tins, a large part of each individual serving forms a crispy, brown crust around the cup shape of each muffin portion. Use mini muffin pans for bite-size morsels. Step 1. You also need shredded potatoes. Step 2. Step 3. view on Amazon: my nesting mixing bowl set Step 4. Step 5. view on Amazon: 6-cup regular size muffin tins - I prefer 2 of these pans over one pan with 12 cups for more flexibility in a crowded oven & for making smaller batches.mini muffin tins - bite sized for appetizer platters and a healthy substitute for tater tots. Step 6. Step 7. Step 8. Crispy on the outside, moist and tender on the inside. For breakfast, brunch or dinner.

Skinny Baked Mozzarella Sticks Part-skim mozzarella sticks coated with crispy seasoned breadcrumbs and baked until hot and golden. Serve them with my quick marinara sauce and you have yourself an appetizer everyone will love. Hot mozzarella sticks, I can't think of a more popular finger food with both kids and adults alike! I mean, what's not to like? Baking them as opposed to frying and using part skim cheese doesn't effect how good these are. Of course, you'll want to serve them hot right out of the oven, because like any cheese, as they cool they harden. It actually took me several attempts to get these perfect. These are freezer friendly, in fact these MUST be frozen before you bake them or you will have one big cheesy mess in your oven! Man-Approved Spicy Oven Fries I have always been a big fan of baked potatoes. So it is no surprise that when I came across this lovely recipe my destiny had been sealed. Not only did I end up with a good amount of delicious fries that made both me and my man very happy, but during making of this dish I learned a few useful tricks. One of them is how to cut neat french fries. And the next trick I learned is how to make sure that your fries keep their shape and do not break while baking. Would you like to know the details? Then you are invited to have a look at it all… This is what we need. Very basic stuff.
