Keep on smiling, Love, Annabelle Watermark Tee by Sweet Verbana Hello U-Create readers! I am so excited to be guest posting here today. It just so happens to be my first guest post and I'm still a little shocked that it's here at Ucreate, one of my favorite blogs! A little bit about me.. I'm from a little town called Keller, Texas. I'm a junior at Texas A&M University (whoop!). I'm working on my education degree and expect to be an elementary school teacher in just two short years. When I'm not busy studying for classes, I love to sew. I just started blogging in May and have already met all kinds of wonderful women, I hope you'll stop by and say hi too! Watermark Tee Tutorial What I love about this project is that it's completely customizable. Materials: Elmer's Blue Gel Glue (it must be the blue gel, white won't work) Fabric Dye (RIT is my tried and true brand) A white cotton Tee, Tank, Dress etc. Tutorial: If you're unfamiliar with Batiking, it's a method of dyeing fabric in which you create a design with a dye- resist. Step 1: Prepare Step 2: Design

Madame de Rosa - Blog EVELINAS FASHION CAFE Single Loop Lace Infinity Scarf Tutorial Materials: 1/ 2 yd Lace 1/2 yd Backing Fabric Matching thread (ignore the elastic thread shown in the pic) Tutorial: My original intention for this project was a shirred waist skirt. Begin by cutting your lace and backing fabric into 18" x 45" rectangles. Sew along each 45" side Turn inside out and you'll have something like this: Bring the two ends together and pin the lace fabric right sides together. Sew with a 1/2 inseam. Turn the scarf inside out so that the seams are exposed and pin your backing fabric right sides together. Sew as shown below (with a 1/2" inseam), leaving about a 4 inch gap opening. Turn scarf right side out through your gap and secret stitch the opening. And done! Maybe not as cute as the skirt I had envisioned, but pretty darn close! *Update* More scarves made with this tutorial!

Dance In My Closet Ashes into Fashion Hello ladies I don't know if you noticed but for those who did my hair is LONGER! :) About a week or two ago I got my first set of HK Hair Extensions in Butterscotch Highlights 20-22") Deluxe Full Head. I've been wearing them non stop and wanted to share my review on them. Long or Short I have that BIG TEXAS HAIR type of hair naturally, not to mention its super super thick. I absolutely adored the packaging "Oh la la... " so so cute Amazingly they have a 21 hair color selection to choose from and most importantly 180 grams of 100% Human Hair. 10 numbered clip in wefts which one of the 10 wefts is actually a (quad weft) meaning 4 wefts of hair sewn onto a flat mesh. I've actually been wearing the Quad weft and 4 of the standard ones total of 5 wefts for my head and its PERFECT!

Shoe Makeover I love the simple, carefree style of laceless tennis shoes, especially in the summer. They're the best shoes to slip on before running errands, shopping, being outside, or really anything. I've been drooling over these Keds for a while now... However $50 for one pair of shoes really isn't in my budget. So when I saw plain white Keds knock offs at Walmart for only $5 , I knew exactly what I wanted to do. Materials Needed: Plain White or Off White Tennis Shoes (Walmart has them for $5 and Target has them for $9)RIT or other brand Fabric Dye1.5 " wide ElasticStrong Needle and Thread (in coordinating color) Although I love the muted colors that Keds sells. First take out the laces In a large pot Boil your water. Rinse your shoes off in the sink with hot water When your water is boiling, turn it down to more of a simmer and add your dye. Let them sit, stirring them around every once in a while, for about 10 minutes or until they reach your desired shade. Here's how mine looked once dry: Shoes- $5

Here’s an easy way to make your own. What You Will Need: -Old T-Shirt -Good Scissors Step 1: Go through your old T-shirts and find a daring print or color combo. For a cleaner look, choose a solid. Step 2: Cut horizontally across the shirt, just below the armholes, to create a rectangular tube.
