Marcela García, reina del Carnaval 2016, opina sobre lo que significa ser reina en el siglo XXI La soberana del Carnaval de Barranquilla, Marcela García Caballero, escribió hoy una columna de opinión en el portal web Tirando Línea, sobre lo que significa ser Reina en el Siglo XXI. En diálogo con EL HERALDO, Marcela afirmó que este texto había sido escrito para expresar su postura como la nueva reina de la fiesta más importante del Caribe y los retos que lleva impuestos desde que aceptó tomar el título. “Como reina del Carnaval siento un gran compromiso con la ciudad porque quiero que los Barranquilleros vivan una excelente fiesta”, dijo. Las redes sociales son un punto clave en la nota que escribió la soberana, puesto que estas las consideras una “herramienta imprescindible” en su nuevo rol de líder de la fiesta. “Me encantan las redes sociales porque siento que puedo estar cerca de la gente. “Así como encuentro comentarios muy lindos, también encuentro muchas críticas que al final las tomo como constructivas”, afirmó. Sin embargo, nadie te prepara para la realidad de todo.
Porcaria Sonora: Folk Descobri recentemente esse álbum, por sugestão de um colega, e fiquei absolutamente apaixonado. Produzido T Bone Burnett (Roy Orbison, Elvis Costello e Wallflowers) os arranjos são elaboradíssimos, mas minimalistas, discretos, elegantes, precisos. O álbum é uma obra de arte! Nunca gostei nem de Led Zepelin, nem da carreira solo de Robert Plant e Jimmy Page. Grande vencedores do Grammy de 2009 com os prêmios de melhor colaboração pop com vocais com a música "Rich Woman", gravação do ano pela faixa "Please Read the Letter" (uma das minhas favoritas desse álbum), melhor colaboração country com vocais por "Killing The Blues" e melhor disco de folk norte-americano pel álbum "Raising Sand", considerado também o melhor disco de 2008. Recomendo ainda a ótima regravação dos Everly Brothers "Gone, Gone, Gone" e a deliciosa "Stick With Me Baby". Resumindo: é um puta álbum! Give yourself to Bacon!!! 01.
