Photos of The Great War It was supposed to be the war to end all war. For over four years World War I raged on, leaving in its wake a toll of death and destruction such as the world had never seen. These are the images of that time, an eternal testament to all those whose lives were lost or forever altered by The Great War. Ultimaking could learn from Leapfrog - Buying, Ordering and Delivery of Ultimaker - Official Ultimaker User Forum I joined their forum, as I have done this one ... in order to find out what support and feed back was going on. I do not currently own a 3D printer. I found nothing but one issue after another. (@ leapfrog) With regard to the creator model ... by memory ... one guy had to take to his machine with a grinder and cut a hole in it as the metal frame was touching the spool or interfering with the filament in some way ... something else about needing bearings.
The Art of Rendering: Turn Your Architectural Visualization from Day to Night Using Nothing but Photoshop One of the very first tutorials I created described a workflow that generated a night scene only using Photoshop. That tutorial used a very simple base image exported right out of SketchUp. The workflow is easy to implement and is especially useful if you are not comfortable setting up night scenes and lighting in an external render engine such as Kerkythea or V-Ray. However, that same workflow is equally useful with more complex and developed scenes, and this latest post is my attempt prove it.

There are so many facets to this story I can't decide which one I want to talk about. For starters there's two huge companies ignoring licenses protecting a little guy because what's he going to do, sue them? It is disgraceful and shameful and probably not going to effect their bottom line in the least. Sucks. And in a perfect world they'd get their comeuppance, but the world still ain't perfect and that's the risk you run when you give your stuff away for free.
