Новая Зеландия состоит из двух островов – Северный и Южный, их разделяет пролив Кука, протяженностью в 107 км. Я живу почти на самом верху северного острова, в г. Окленде. Наша задача сегодня добраться до г. (я уже писала об этом чудесном городе там переночевать и рано утром переправиться уже на Южный остров. Ночевали в очень загадочном месте, на побережье Капити, где снимали Властелина Колец, хотя что говорить, здесь везде снимали, куда не ткнись. День 2. Поход по проливу Кука на пароме занимает всего 3 часа. В инфо –центре, мы “купили” половину нашего тура, а точнее забронировали вперед пяток отелей и пару экскурсий. На верхней палубе: Пролив Кука, впереди виднеется Южный остров: Из г. Если у кого будет больше времени, советую остановится на ночь в г. и красивые пейзажи: и еще, фотки делала из окна машины: По дороге в Вест порт (West port): День 3. Утром двинулись дальше на Юг.

Небольшой городок, который был образован во времена золотой лихорадки (1846 г.). Как и везде в стране, новозеландцы берегут свою хоть и не большую, но все же историю. В городе остались кафе и отели с названием «золотая лихорадка». Погуляв по берегу, мы пошли в «Золотую комнату». Здесь есть необработанные украшения из самородков, обычного природного цвета, смотрится очень необычно. В магазине можно подержать, примерить и даже сфотографироваться с украшениями: Тут же в студии можно понаблюдать за ювелиром, который создает украшения, кстати еще и владелец в одном лице: Можно подойти поближе: Какая красота: Согласитесь какая простота в обращении с золотом, никто надомной не стоял, в магазине даже охраны нет: Западное золото в Новой Зеландии одно из самых чистых в мире - 95%-98% натуральной чистоты. Тем не менее разновозрастные друзья из блатных, более мелких и более современных университетов, коих сейчас как грязи, рассказывают, что там буквально прейскуранты висят у кассы. Forty-five percent of employers reported in a recent CareerBuilder survey that they use social networking sites to research job candidates, a big jump from 22 percent last year. Of those who conduct online searches/background checks of job candidates, 29 percent use Facebook, 26 percent use LinkedIn and 21 percent use MySpace. The top industries most likely to screen job candidates via social networking sites or online search engines include those that specialize in technology and sensitive information: Information Technology (63 percent) and Professional & Business Services (53 percent).
