US-Israeli citizen jailed in Egypt treated fairly Associated Press JERUSALEM — Israel on Tuesday officially approved a deal to swap 25 Egyptian prisoners for a U.S.-Israeli citizen arrested in Egypt four months ago on suspicions of espionage. The unanimous vote by Israel's Security Cabinet cleared the way for Ilan Grapel to return home on Thursday, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office said, ending what has become an uncomfortable episode between the two allies.
