Rowdy crowds shut down Electric Daisy film premiere L.A. media have been commendably all over this as the story has developed, but in case you missed the nightly news: There was a skirmish tonight between dance-music fans and police outside Grauman's Chinese Theatre in Hollywood at the premiere of the new concert flick Electric Daisy Carnival Experience. And a number of fingers are being pointed at Kaskade. The DJ, who resides in San Clemente, was scheduled to play an invitation-only set in front of the landmark movie house shortly before the film, chronicling the long-running dance music festival. While on his way to the performance, Kaskade (aka Ryan Raddon, 40) started tweeting his 90,000-plus followers about the private event, encouraging them to come see: "Today@6pm in Hollywood @MANN's Chinese Theatre. Immediately before posting that, Kaskade hinted that he knew what sort of street party might erupt: "Let's see if the magic of social networking will work today," he sent out.
